Behind the Curtain
Written by David Sullivan, a full-time journalist since 1975, involved in copy editing for most of that time. A newspaper journalist in Philadelphia, a native of Indiana, a resident of New Jersey, secretary of ACES, a former SPJ chapter president, a believer in the possibilities of print journalism and a member of the newspaper optimists club, as Juan Giner puts it. And someone whose idea of fun is to take a week to research the history of department stores in places like Altoona and Hammond.
